The history of P & F Corbin Company, headquartered in New Britain, Connecticut, stretches from its founding in 1849 to its ongoing operations. Established by Philip and Frank Corbin, the company started as a manufacturer of hardware, specializing in locks, keys, and builders’ hardware.

This Vernacular style asymmetrical door knob was made by Corbin in the 1895 catalog. It is part of the B-11300 Ceylon group. It is made of bronze in an antique patina. Priced each.
