Pennsylvania seal frieze from Philadelphia Civic CenterItem Number:E102215
This a circular frieze depicting the seal of Pennsylvania. It was salvaged from the recently demolished Philadelphia Civic Center. The building was erected in 1929 and was used for political conventions, sporting events and other general activities. It is uncommon to find such artifacts, especially in such great condition! Originally it was a part of the centers exterior wall and our salvage experts, also known as ‘Architecturologists,’ were able to carefully remove it without causing any significant damage. Serious inquiries only.
