American chestnut stair railing big & chunky!
Description
This unique stair railing is made of American chestnut. It stands 30 inches high including the banister. The banister is hand carved to contour to your hand and is nice and thick. It is all solid chestnut. The spindles appear to be pine. they are each 2 inches in diameter and 2.25 inches square at each end. Pictured here is a five foot run. Most of the runs are at least ten feet. There are big distinctly chunky newel posts that go with this railing; see item no. K186732. There is also wainscot and beadboard for the rise of the wall on the opposite side of your staircase; see item no. K186747. The stair railing is priced by the linear foot.
